How it works
Customer calls your existing business number

If you answer - you take the call normally
If you don't answer - call forwards to your AI Receptionist
AI handles the call and you get a notification
Setting up conditional forwarding
You need to set up "forward on no answer" on your mobile phone. This is done by dialling a special code.
Steps:
Go to Call Routing in CyberStaff
Enter your business phone number
We detect your mobile carrier automatically
You'll see a dial code to activate forwarding
From your business phone, dial this code exactly as shown
You'll hear a confirmation tone
Test by calling your number and not answering
Important: You must dial the code FROM the phone you want to forward. You cannot set this up from a different phone.
Common issues
Turn off WiFi Calling first:
WiFi Calling can block dial codes from working. Disable it temporarily in your phone settings, dial the code, then turn it back on.
Wrong carrier detected:
If the dial code doesn't work, click "Change carrier" and select your actual carrier manually.
Digital landlines (e.g. BT Digital Voice, Sky, Virgin etc):
Dial codes don't work with internet-based phone lines. Instead, log into your provider's app or website and set up call forwarding to your AI number there.
Testing your setup:
Call your business number from a different phone
Let it ring without answering
The call should forward to your AI Receptionist
Check your CyberStaff Calls page to confirm it was received
Deactivating forwarding:
If you need to turn off forwarding:
Go to Call Routing in CyberStaff
You'll see a deactivation dial code
Dial this code from your business phone
Forwarding is now disabled
