This setting applies to direct calls to your AI number. Schedule-based routing lets you define different call handling rules for different times and days.
Steps to set up scheduled routing
Go to Call Routing in the menu
Select Schedule-based routing
Configure hours for each day of the week
Choose what happens during vs outside those hours
Save your settings
Example configurations
Office hours with AI backup:
Monday-Friday 9am-5pm: Ring my phone first
Outside those hours: AI answers directly
Weekend AI coverage:
Weekdays: Ring my phone first
Saturday-Sunday: AI answers all calls
24/7 AI with personal touch:
Business hours: Ring briefly (10 sec), then AI
Outside hours: AI answers immediately
Configuring the schedule
For each day, you can set:
Start time - When this routing begins
End time - When this routing ends
Enabled/Disabled - Toggle the day on or off
Note: Times outside your configured schedule use the default routing (typically AI answers directly).
