You control what information your AI Receptionist asks callers for. Configure this to match your business needs.

Configurable details

  1. Customer Name

    • When enabled: AI asks for the caller's name

    • When disabled: AI skips name collection

    • Enables: Customer profiles and personalised greetings

  2. Job/Service Details

    • When enabled: AI asks about what service they need

    • Includes: Category-specific questions based on your business type

    • Custom questions: Add your own specific questions

  3. Address/Location

    • When enabled: AI asks where the caller is located

    • Detail level options:

      • General area (suburb, postcode)

      • Full address (street, number, postcode)

    • Useful for: Service area businesses that travel to customers

  4. Availability

    • When enabled: AI asks when the caller is available

    • Options:

      • General availability (mornings, weekends, etc.)

      • Specific times (exact dates and times)

    • Note: Automatically enabled for booking modes

How to configure

  1. Go to Receptionist Settings in the sidebar

  2. Find the Details to Ask section

  3. Toggle each detail type on or off

  4. Configure options for enabled details

  5. Changes save automatically
