Personalised greetings let your AI address returning callers by name, creating a more personal experience.

Steps to enable personalised greetings

  1. Go to Receptionist Settings in the menu

  2. Find the Opening Message section

  3. Check the box for Personalise greeting with caller's name

  4. Your changes save automatically

How personalised greetings work

  • When a known customer calls, the AI says "Hi [Name]!" before the opening message

  • First-time callers hear the standard opening message

  • The AI uses names from Customer Intelligence profiles

Requirements

  • Customer Intelligence must be enabled - This feature requires customer profiles to be active

  • Customer must have called before - Only works for returning callers

  • Name must be on record - The customer's name must be saved in their profile

Note: If Customer Intelligence is disabled, this option will be unavailable. Enable Customer Intelligence first in Receptionist Settings.

Example

  • Standard greeting: "Thank you for calling. How can I help you today?"

  • Personalised greeting: "Hi Sarah! Thank you for calling. How can I help you today?"
