How does duration selection work?

Adjust appointment duration when confirming bookings, with AI-estimated times and manual override options.

When confirming a booking, you select how long the appointment will last. This determines the calendar event duration.

How duration works

  1. Your AI estimates the duration based on the conversation

  2. The estimated duration appears pre-selected

  3. You can adjust up or down as needed

  4. Duration options are in 15-minute increments

Adjusting duration

  1. Find the Duration selector on the booking confirmation

  2. Use the hours and minutes dropdowns

  3. Select the total time needed for this appointment

  4. Consider travel time if you're visiting the customer

Duration considerations

  • Include buffer time - Add extra time between appointments

  • Service type - Different services need different durations

  • Customer needs - Some jobs take longer than average

Warning: If the selected duration extends past your available hours, you'll see a warning. You can still confirm, but the appointment may run into unavailable time.
