What happens when a booking expires?

Bookings expire when all the customer's proposed times have passed without being confirmed.

Understanding expired bookings

  • Bookings have proposed times suggested by the customer

  • If you don't confirm before those times pass, the booking expires

  • Expired bookings cannot be confirmed through CyberStaff

  • They appear with an Expired status

What to do with expired bookings

  1. Contact the customer directly - Call or SMS them to reschedule

  2. Review your response time - Try to process bookings faster

  3. Enable notifications - Get alerts when new bookings arrive

Preventing expired bookings

  • Check pending bookings daily

  • Enable email/SMS notifications to be alerted immediately

  • Process bookings promptly - Don't leave customers waiting

Tip: If you regularly have bookings expiring, consider enabling SMS notifications so you can respond quickly even when away from your computer.
