Connect your Outlook or Microsoft 365 calendar to enable availability checking and automatic booking creation.

Steps to connect Outlook Calendar

  1. Go to Bookings in the menu

  2. Click Connect Outlook Calendar

  3. A Microsoft sign-in popup appears

  4. Sign in with your Microsoft account

  5. Review the permissions requested

  6. Click Accept to grant access

  7. The popup closes and your calendar shows as connected

Account types supported

  • Personal Microsoft accounts (outlook.com, hotmail.com)

  • Microsoft 365 work or school accounts

  • Exchange Online accounts

Troubleshooting connection issues

Popup was blocked:

  • Check for a blocked popup notification in your browser

  • Allow popups from CyberStaff and try again

Organisation restrictions:

  • Your IT department may restrict third-party app access

  • Contact your administrator if you see an access denied message

  • They may need to approve CyberStaff in Azure AD

Wrong account:

  • If you connected the wrong account, disconnect and try again

  • Make sure you're signed into the correct Microsoft account
