How do I connect my calendar?

Connect Google Calendar or Outlook to enable availability checking and automatic booking creation.

Connecting your calendar allows your AI Receptionist to check your availability and helps you manage bookings directly from CyberStaff.

Steps to connect your calendar

  1. Go to Bookings in the menu

  2. Look for the calendar connection section

  3. Click either Connect Google Calendar or Connect Outlook Calendar

  4. A popup window will open asking you to sign in

  5. Grant the requested permissions

  6. Once connected, you'll see your calendar email displayed

Note: Calendar connection typically takes less than 30 seconds. The popup may ask you to select which calendar to use if you have multiple.

Why connect your calendar?

  • Availability checking - AI can see when you're free before suggesting times

  • Automatic event creation - Confirmed bookings are added to your calendar

  • Enable "Take Bookings" mode - Full calendar integration requires a connected calendar

  • Avoid double-booking - AI knows your existing commitments

What permissions are needed?

We request read access to see your availability and write access to create booking events. We do not:

  • Access your email

  • Modify existing events

  • Share your calendar data
