If calls aren't being answered by your AI Receptionist, work through these checks to identify the issue.
Check 1: Subscription status
Is your subscription active?
Log into your Dashboard
Look for any subscription warning banners
Check if you're in trial and trial has ended
Verify payment hasn't failed
Fix: Upgrade your subscription or update payment method if payment failed.
Check 2: Call forwarding
Is call forwarding set up correctly?
Go to Call Routing in the sidebar
Verify the forwarding number is correct
Try calling your AI number directly (bypassing forwarding)
Fix: Re-configure call forwarding or test direct calls to AI number.
Check 3: Correct number dialled
Are callers dialling the right number?
Check which number is active (mobile or landline)
Verify marketing materials have correct number
Test call the number yourself
Fix: Update any materials with incorrect numbers.
Check 4: Phone number status
Is your AI phone number working?
Go to the Phone Number by clicking the gear in the top right
Check the correct mobile or landline is chosen
Verify the correct number is being used
Fix: If status shows an issue, contact support.
Check 5: Trial limits
Have you exceeded trial limits?
Trial allows 10 calls per day
After 10 calls, AI won't answer until next day
Fix: Upgrade to a paid plan for unlimited calls.
Still not working?
If you've checked all the above:
Note the time of the failed call
Note the number the caller dialled
Contact support with these details
