How do I update my service areas?

Steps to update service areas

  1. Go to Business in the menu

  2. Find the Service Areas or Location section

  3. Add or remove areas you cover

  4. Save your changes

Types of service area entries

  • Cities/Towns: "Manchester", "Birmingham"

  • Regions: "Greater London", "West Midlands"

  • Postcodes: "M1", "B1", "SW1"

  • Radius: "Within 20 miles of Leeds"

  • Counties: "Lancashire", "Yorkshire"

How your AI uses service areas

When a caller asks if you cover their area:

  • If within service area: AI confirms you cover their location

  • If outside service area: AI notes their location for your review (doesn't refuse)

  • If unclear: AI collects their location details for you to assess

Best practices

  • Be comprehensive - include all areas you'll travel to

  • Use multiple formats (postcodes AND place names)

  • Update when you expand or reduce coverage

  • Consider edge cases and neighbouring areas

Note: Your AI never refuses business based on location. It notes the information so you can decide.
