Why didn't I receive a call notification?

Troubleshoot missing email or SMS notifications including spam filters, validation issues, and settings checks.

If you're not receiving notifications for calls, there are several things to check.

Common reasons for missing notifications

Email notifications:

  1. Check spam/junk folder:

  2. Verify email address:

    • Go to Account > Notifications

    • Check the email address is correct

    • Look for typos

  3. Confirm notifications are enabled:

    • Toggle must be switched On

    • Email field must not be empty

  4. Email delivery delays:

    • Some email providers have delays

    • Wait a few minutes and check again

SMS notifications:

  1. Phone number validation:

    • Number must be validated before SMS works

    • Check for validation status in settings

  2. Correct number entered:

    • Verify the mobile number is correct

    • Include country code for non-UK numbers

  3. Mobile carrier issues:

    • Some carriers block automated SMS

    • Check with your carrier if persistent

  4. Phone storage/settings:

    • Ensure phone can receive SMS

    • Check you haven't blocked the sender

General checks

  • Notifications toggle is On - Check both email and SMS toggles

  • Recent call exists - Verify the call appears in your Calls list

  • Call completed - Notifications only send after call ends

  • Not during trial limit - If trial calls maxed out, calls may not complete

If you've checked everything above and still aren't receiving notifications, contact support with:

  • Your email address and phone number

  • When notifications stopped working

  • Any recent changes you made
