Steps to add a customer manually
Go to Customers in the menu
Click Add Customer button
Enter the customer's phone number (required)
Add their name
Click Save
Add location (optional)
Add any critical facts (optional)

Before they call: Add details for expected callers
From other sources: Import customers from other systems
Referrals: Add referred customers before their first call
Existing relationships: Add customers you already know

Phone number requirements
Must be a valid phone format
Include country code for non-UK numbers
This becomes their unique identifier
Can't be changed after creation
