How do I read a call transcript?

Call transcripts show the complete conversation between your AI Receptionist and the caller, word for word.

Accessing a transcript

  1. Go to Calls in the menu

  2. Click on any call to open details

  3. Scroll down to the Transcript section

Understanding the transcript

  • AI Receptionist messages show what your AI said

  • Caller messages show what the customer said

  • Timestamps may be shown for longer calls

  • The transcript is generated from the audio recording

AI Summary

At the top of each call detail page, you'll see an AI-generated summary that includes:

  • Key points from the conversation

  • Caller intent - what they wanted

  • Action items - what follow-up is needed

  • Booking details - if a booking was requested

Note: Transcripts are generated automatically after each call ends. They typically appear within 1-2 minutes of the call finishing.

When transcripts aren't available

  • Very short calls (under 5 seconds) may not have transcripts

  • If there was a technical issue during the call

  • Calls that went to voicemail
